RAAG is a small group of Retirement Housing Residents who are sick of getting ripped off and mistreated in their own homes. Here is there blog, using a wordpress default theme with minor modifications.
We create clean, simple websites for grassroots organisations and community groups
Our mission is to make building and maintaining an effective online presence easy, affordable and accessible for all.
By harnessing free, affordable and human friendly tools we take web publishing outside the realm of gurudom and put it to work for you.
Check out some of the projects we've worked on below, or get in touch to ask for advice or find out what we can do for you.
Gippsland Plains CMN
Gippsland Plains Community Management Networks Joomla site was displaying the dreaded ‘white screen of death’. We brought it back to life temporarily while we built a simple, user friendly new site using WordPress. The site has now been retired after the CMNs merger.
Supina Bytol
This is a quick artist portfolio site we whipped up, which sadly wasn’t kept online by the artist. Supina’s diverse and inventive body of work couldn’t be represented by just one colour, so we made the colours change each time you reload the page. Hopefully this keeps it fresh. Not sure though what’s your opinion?
Hands Off Public Housing
Hands Off Public Housing needed an easy to use, friendly website to inform the community of the planned sell off of public housing to private developers – about which the Victorian government has provided little real information. We put WordPress and Divi to quickly put together this campaign site.
Emerald Link
Goongerah Environment Centre and The Wilderness society needed a website to support their campaign to end logging in East Gippsland, and establish a reserve to protect the remaining ancient and amazing forests of Victoria’s far east. This website gives the visitor some idea of just how amazing those forests are. Visitors are encouraged to participate […]
Act on Climate
Act on Climate needed a website to encourage users from all walks of life to engage and get involved in the campaign against climate change. We built them a customised Nationbuilder template, based on the logo design they provided, with a focus on creating simple and inviting navigation menus.
Independent Disability Services Australia
With the NDIS rollout, IDSA needed more control over their website to improve their marketing. We designed this website to their specifications and gave them complete control using the Divi theme editor. The project highlighted both the pros and cons of drag-and-drop editing, enabling the client to make their own design decisions and override theme […]
Combat Wombat
I redesigned this website for a mates band free of charge. I began to understand why it took them 10 years to launch their second album. It highlighted the need for clients to have realistic expectations of their own and my time, and to commit to ideas that had been signed off on, as haphazard […]
Timor Ministry of Education Library
So far this is a prototype website, be we are really excited about its potential so we wanted to share it. In Timor it can be really hard and expensive for school kids and teachers to access books they need for class. So we are building this website to make it as easy as possible […]
Zumba with Charlie
Charlie gives a fun and extra energetic twist to teaching Zumba, so we wanted that to come across in an extra colourful, slightly kooky website design which we achieved using the Divi theme builder. We quickly came up with a cool concept for the logo, colours, images and design and it came together nicely. While […]
