This website was migrated from an old Drupal 7 site with a pretty chaotic database of 1000s of posts. Its my first production site using the new Gutenberg content editor, and to be honest, there’s a lot of things I didn’t like about the new block system! However I noticed that the client was posting A LOT of new posts, quickly, before we even had a chance to do any training together. I asked them how they were going and they said ‘its just so damned easy’.

So there you go, I think that’s a pretty great endorsement. However the removal of ‘screen options’, the collapsed ‘category’ and custom taxonomy meta boxes, and the added difficulty to change things like that, are really backwards in my opinion.

As for the parent theme by Array themes, I think its beautiful, modern layout. I just didn’t like the the #content starts in header.php.
